In case you haven't checked, the weather can't be your excuse for not coming this Sat to the inaugural WDRA race in Big Mike back yard. Don't let the name fool you, this is one of the nicest, smoothest tracks you've seen. And as the programs there are usually under the lights, no-one will have a huge home track advantage.

So how about it........who's making the show...........

Westen hot shoes...................Jeff, Matt, Dan

Southern slide-jobs.............Frenchie,

Canadian Blast............Steve...??

PA, NJ, OH.....any comers

How about those great guys at GMX...Mike, Madball.?????

I also hear a comeback is in the making with a former top runner who is now 4 years smarter; lets see is it helps him on the track!

See Ya......Saturday...........At The Track

That's the prob with summer time. Got drag racing this weekend on Sunday for the Mopar guys at the local 1/8, and thrashing to make it....Not to mention I have to work 10hrs Sat., So I won't be making the 4th leg. Maybe next leg.

I can't believe how late I am in getting these posted!!

Great time was had by all (those in the shade that is)

It was interesting to see the Police getting involved in our event; they just wanted to bring even more attention to our sport I guess.

Thanks to the Johnson household for all you did ot get ready and all you do so we can have fun!!!

Another small crowd for a WDRA race, I'm thinking we have to find a way to run a night race program and yet still have out-of-town participation. Tough to have both I guess.

Thanks for all who did travel. Jeff, Jason, TJ, Frenchie, Romano, Steve, Ken, Rick and Mike. We appreciate you taking the time and spending the gas money. It’s always good to see and race against others once in a while. I wish we could more often.

Tough luck awards:
Chris L. BB Main: gets a shot in the initial false-start; then the brush hangs on lap 1
Steve VH SM: Break heat 1, run heat 2, break after 1 lap in the main

BB
Congrats to Jeff H shows up and smacks the field. Its great to watch Jeff dial in a car that was soooo loooose in hot laps into the track hugging ride that he won with

SB
Local “Truck God” Dave L wins his first CD R/C event this year with the brand new Putnam chassis and a brushed motor (He’s running brushless on the regular Monday shows)

Thanks again to Todd P for the use of his car for this event. It makes running these events well worth it when the owner hands me the radio and says … “just shut up and drive it”

GMX is still fighting with the “Authorities” to get their new track built so stay tuned for future and additional schedule announcements.

See Ya………..for The Next WDRA Event………….At The Track
