2011 DODC National Points Series Standings!
It's half way through the season now and Doug Gaut from Dodge City, KS is currently leading the 2011 DODC National Points series standings. With 3942 points, Doug holds just a 12 point lead over second place driver Bob Rhodes from Pittsburgh, PA. Both Doug and Bob have competed in 9 points paying events, of which only the best 8 are counted. Rocky Mount VA's Billy Tyree is currently in the 3rd position only 25 points back from Bob. Billy has been burning up the miles this spring as he has completed 13 points paying events so far. There are still several races left to run this summer and with only your best 8 counting there will likely be some changes coming in the next few months among the top 10. Jeff Belton's margin of victory last year was just 18 points at the end of the season and this year looks to be even closer yet.
Oklahoma's Roger Moore currently leads the group of racers with 7 races completed with Pennsylvania's , Brian Strausser and Russ Lebo close behind him. The group of races with 6 races completed is currently lead by Texas driver Nathan Dean, followed by NC racer Arnie Fie and Josh Kreamer from Pennsylvania.
Below is a list of the current top 10 in points along with some links to the complete points listings in both alphabetical order and current points positions. The links will open a .pdf file so you will need to have a .pdf viewer like adobe acrobat. Also they are very small files with A LOT of data so you will need to zoom in to them to be able to read them properly. Good luck to all of the racers competing in this years points championship and thank you for supporting your local DODC tracks!
