Im returning to Dirt oval racing after about 20 years off. They are putting an oval track in near me in Morris IL ,Impact raceway. question is where do I start? type of car , motor battery . Im partial to late models so i would like to run a late model class. back when i last raced they were called full body stock and full body mod.Is the custom works car a good car,or do they do conversion kits for the associated cars. Any help would be appreciated.

CW does do a late model and anything they make is a good starting point would just have to see if track is going to be loos dirt or high bite clay/dirt http://www.customworksrc.com/index.php

I think Custom Works is a great company and any of their late models are great options you would just have to talk to your local track promoter/owner and see if it is high bite or loose dirt. That will help you make a decision.
